SBP Scripts

These are some scripts i’ve developed using SBP’s scripting tools. The scripting documentation is a bit lacking and there are a lot of commands we cannot activate using the scripting tools in SBP. But Toonboom’s support is wonderful and I‘m hoping they’l add more options in the future.

All scripts were made for version 6.0.3
I’m working on making them work on other versions too but for now make sure you use them on the latest version. If you come across any bugs or if nothing is working, please contact me so I can try and debug it.

You can find more info about scripting in storybaord pro here:
https://docs.toonboom.com/help/storyboard-pro-6/storyboard/scripting/about-scripting.html

Your custom scripts and default scripts are stored here:
Windows: C:Users[user_name]AppData/Roaming/Toon Boom Animation/Toon Boom Storyboard Pro/(”Your version number”)-scripts
macOS: /Users/[user_name]/Library/Preferences/Toon Boom Animation/Toon Boom Storyboard Pro/ (”Your version number”) -scripts
On macOS, the Library folder is a hidden folder. To display the display the folder, hold down the Alt key.

To download, click the script name on the left.

If you have any issues with the scripts, such as adding the buttons but when clicking them nothing happends, this is useally a path issue. what this video and run this SCRIPT to check the path you should be using

This scripts helps rename layers quickly, Click a name in the list to rename the layer and move to the next layer. You can add names with the "Add Name" button, you can add multiple names by saparating them with either space or comma. When skipping or advancing by using auto advance, Matte layers are automatically skipped. You can change whether you want to skip empty layers or hidden layers. I recommand turning the lighttable on while using it so it would be easier to see which layer is selected.

you to choose how many keys are created. Use the ease settings to
control the way the shake starts and ends.  Change the noise settings to control how much influence the shake has on each axis.

This script gives you an easy to use dialog to generate mattes for selected layers. You can leave this open and quicly generate white mattes or custom colored mattes. The numbers on the buttons represent the Radius setting when generating mattes.   the script turns on onion skin for the matte layers created.
